A State-of-Art Modern Hygienic Fish Market was constructed by the Project Implementation Agency, Puducherry under the World Bank Assistance and the same was handed over to this Municipality for operation and maintenance on 15.05.2017. The Modern Hygienic Fish Market(MHFM) located at ECR, Lawspet, Puducherry has various facilities such as Modern Hygienic Fish Sale Area, Auction Hall, Washing and Sorting Room, Ice Plant, Cold Storage Rooms, Restaurant, Fully Air-conditioned Vegetables and Fruits Retail Outlet, ATM Centre, Public Toilet, etc.
