Shelter for Urban Homeless

At present Shelter for Urban Homeless is operational at Gorimedu opposite to Jipmer Hospital.

City Livelihood Centres (CLCs)

Supply of Manpower to various Government Departments in respect of Data Entry Operator / Technical Assistant/ Legal Assistant / Technical Consultant / Financial Consultant / Technical Personnel / Resource Persons/MTS, etc., is done by CLC. Till date 170 nos. of employees are working through OM-CLC in various Department and 1,285 Nos. (approx.) members were enrolled in OM-CLC.

Agarbathi Training

Training given to 50 SHG members.

Chat GPT and AI Training

Comprehensive Training programmes were conducted for the Outsourcing Staff, working in various Departments through OM-CLC

Capacity Building Training (CBT)

Training program to 243 Nos. of Self-Help Group Members (SHGs) availing PMFME seed capital Loan was conducted at Old Office (Marie), Oulgaret Municipality, Puducherry.

Other Activities

  • Exhibition at Rashtrapati Bhavan,New Delhi – 4 SHG members (15 Aug – 30 Aug 2025) 4 Nos. of SHG members displayed their products in the exhibition conducted at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi from 15th August to 30th August 2025.
  • Bakery & Confectionery Training program was conducted at Catering Institute of Hotel Management at Murungapakkam. Totally 7 batches i.e., 210 Nos. of SHG members were trained
  • Food Safety Training Program was conducted by Ms. Divya from M/s. Pakkisom Private Limited to the SHG members at Jawahar Nagar Community Hall.
  • Meditation & Yoga training program was conducted to the SHG Member for their Healthy Life in the Jawahar Nagar Community Hall.
  • SIR Form Awareness program training conducted for SHG members to fill the SIR form issued by the Election Department and instructed them to support Booth Level Officer (BLO) to fill the SIR form of the general public of the respective wards.
  • Swachhata Action Plan (SAP 2025) 37 Nos. of SHG members participated for cleaning activity at Catering Institute of Hotel Management at Murungapakkam on 04-12-2025. Further, 42 Nos. of SHG members participated for cleaning activity at Catering Institute of Hotel Management at Murungapakkam on 05-12-2025.

Food Safety Training Program conducted for 2 Days for 40 Nos. Self Help Group Members at Old Office (Marie), Oulgaret Municipality, Puducherry.

Tree Saplings Plantation

Tree saplings were planted at Old Office (Marie), Oulgaret Municipality, Puducherry in view of World Environmental Day

Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PMFME)

Pradhan Mantri Formation of Micro food processing Enterprises (PMFME) - Capacity Building Training (CBT) training program was conducted to 60 Nos. of Self-Help Group Members (SHGs) at Old Office (Marie), Oulgaret Municipality, Puducherry.

Exposure Tour / Field Visit to Kudumbashree Project

Exposure Tour / Field Visit to Kudumbashree Project (Study of City Level Federation & City Livelihood Centre), Kerala at Guruvayur and Thiruvananthapuram by the DAY-NULM/DJAY-(S) Officials & Staff and ALF, CLF Members from 18-05-2026 to 22-05-2026

Jan Kalyan (People’s Welfare) Campaign

Jan Kalyan (People’s Welfare) Campaign was conducted on 16-06-2026 at Kamban Kalaiarangam, Puducherry in view of enrolment of eligible beneficiaries and distribution of benefits under various Central Government flagship schemes

Kitchen Garden Training

Training program on Kitchen Garden for the 20 No. of Self-Help Group Members was held on 13-08-2026 at Botanical Garden, Puducherry conducted by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Puducherry.

Tailoring Training

10 days training program on Tailoring for the 20 No. of Self-Help Group Members is conducted at Old Office (Marie), Oulgaret Municipality, Puducherry.

ALF/CLF Meeting

Conducting monthly CLF/ALF meetings at Old Office (Marie), Oulgaret Municipality, Puducherry.

Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME)

To supporting the SHG members in scaling up their business activities, Seed Capital of Rs.40,000/- per SHG member is provided as working capital for the purchase of small tools and other business-related requirements. A total of 543 Nos. of SHGs members were availed the loan.
