Purpose
Issue of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to applicants who require the NOC for obtaining Building Plan Approval from the Puducherry Planning Authority (PPA). The procedure covers receipt of applications, scrutiny of documents, field verification, assessment and collection of Development Charge (DC) and Vacant Land Tax (VLT), and issue of the NOC.
Documents Required
The applicant shall submit the following documents along with the application:
Self-attested copy of the registered document in the name of the applicant. In case the property is held through a Power of Attorney, the relevant parent/title document shall also be submitted.
Self-attested copy of the layout, duly marking/highlighting the plot for which the NOC is sought.
Affidavit regarding dispute, wherever applicable, relating to the road portion and/or the plot.
Duly filled-in Self-Declaration Form.
Copy of the proposed building plan.
Affidavit/undertaking regarding non-encroachment of Government/Panchayat land and canal, and for providing the prescribed buffer zone, wherever applicable.
The office may call for any additional document or clarification wherever necessary for verification of title, ownership, location, extent or other relevant particulars.
Mode of Application
The application seeking NOC may be submitted through the following modes:
- Through the PPA portal, along with the required documents; or
- Directly to the Commissioner, Oulgaret Municipality, along with the prescribed documents.
